Our Region

This region stretches from just above Taree in the north to the Hawkesbury River in the south and extends northwest up the Hunter Valley to Scone.

The region is characterised by pristine waterways, spectacular scenery and unspoilt national parks. If you are keen on water there are kilometres of surfing beaches and vast areas of lake (Great Lakes and Lake Macquarie). If it is the peace and quiet of the bush that attract you there are wilderness areas with rainforest, mountains, rivers, small country towns, pastoral vistas and vineyards.

If you want the facilities and attractions of city life without the hectic pace of Sydney, then Gosford and Newcastle have what you need: restaurants, theatre, music, cinema, university campuses and a great choice of schools.
